Timing
The golf swing consists of four distinct segments which comprise: Backswing, Pause and Reversal, Power-Stroke and Follow Through. The Golf Dynamics Lite uniquely measures and reports numerically the absolute time duration of each of these four swing segments separately in addition to the total time duration or the entire swing.

Rhythm Profile and Tempo
Tempo is defined as the time duration from the start of the backswing to the completion of the power stoke at maximum club head velocity. The Rhythm Profile characterizes the breakdown of Total Tempo by providing each of the three swing segments separately as a percentage total tempo along with absolute time durations. The three swing segments that make up tempo include: back-swing, pause and reversal, and power-stoke. Both numeric and graphic representation are presented. The Rhythm Profile is a critical metric when optimizing your swing style for efficiency resulting in more power and distance.

Although these ratios will vary slightly from pro to pro, each pro is extremely consistent with their ratios from swing to swing. Proper timing durations, rhythm ratios and consistency are critical for optimizing power, distance and accuracy. The reason you haven’t heard a lot about detailed timing ratios is simple, existing swing measurement technologies are not capable measuring this critical aspect of the high performance golf swing.

MPH (Mile Per Hour) of the club as it travels on the club head path. Club head velocity along with your Timing and Rhythm Profile are the essential combination when optimizing swing style for power.

Club face angle is the angle the club face makes with respect to the travel path of the club head and is one of the most important metrics when it comes to control and accuracy.

The numeric feedback includes maximum club head velocity and club face angle @ maximum velocity. The dynamic nature of these two metric are also reported on a large dual axis time line graph. The dynamics club head velocity and the dynamic club face angle presentation time line can span up to mid power-stroke thru mid follow-through or can be zoom in to inspect detail near maximum velocity.

This unique combination of all-important metrics and detailed timing attributes displayed on one screen allows you to take swing after swing to optimize your swing technique and hone your swing performance.
