Golf Dynamics Pro - Free Swing Analyzer
Item Number: Free Swing Analyzer
Golf Dynamics Pro – Free Swing Analyzer is the most comprehensive mobile Golf Swing Analyzer ever offered and takes learning the optimum golf swing to a new level. The Golf Dynamics Pro accelerates the swing improvement process by providing key golf swing metrics that characterizes your entire swing.
What makes us different? We use data measured at the club head during your entire swing, while competitive products take limited measurements within inches of ball impact or even measure the ball flight and make estimates as to what the club head was doing at impact. In both approaches, they only characterize a small fraction of time of your swing at impact, which does little for understanding and optimizing your full swing dynamics.
The Golf Dynamics Pro – Free Swing Analyzer allows you to develop that high performance consistent swing without the requirement or distraction of hitting or even making contact with a ball. See our Golf Dynamics Pro Demonstration and Capabilities Video below.

Swing Orientation Performance Metrics
Club Face Angle
Club face angle is the angle the club face makes with respect to the travel path of the club head and is one of the most important metrics when it comes to hitting the ball strait.
Toe Down Angle
The toe down angle is defined as the amount that the toe of the club head rotates downward due to the centrifugal forces on the club head’s center of gravity.
Club Head Velocity
The club head velocity is the speed in MPH (Mile Per Hour) that the club head travel during the down stroke through maximum velocity and reduces into the follow through segment of the swing.
Club Head Acceleration/Deceleration
The club head acceleration profile is a measure of the acceleration experienced by the club head during the down stroke going through
zero acceleration at maximum velocity and then deceleration into the follow through segment of the swing.
Shaft Flex Lag/Lead Angle
Shaft Flex is a measure of the bending of the shaft in the direction of the club head travel path during the swing and is measured in degrees. Shaft flex is the result of forces applied at the grip and the inertial forces experienced by the club head.
Wrist Cock Angle
Wrist cock is a measure of the angle your club shaft in relation to your strait arm.

Timing, Tempo and Smoothness Performance Metrics
The total golf swing consists of four distinct segments which comprise: Backswing, Pause and Reversal, Power-Stroke (also called down stroke) and Follow Through. The Golf Dynamics Pro, evaluates the entire swing in its entirety for Swing Orientation Performance Metrics (discussed above) and also, breaks the swing down in to each of its separate swing segments for Timing and Tempo Analysis and deeper examination of Smoothness of forces applied to the club head during each of those segments.
Timing
The Golf Dynamics Pro shows your entire swing broken down into the four swing segments on a single graph letting you see what time
percentage each segment contributes to the entire swing duration.
Tempo
Tempo as defined by other swing analyzers is defined as the time from the start of the back swing to ball impact which is lacking any useful information since tempo is actually the sequence of three distinct swing segments. These three swing segments time duration can vary independently: for example a long pause between backswing and power-stroke will create a much longer tempo duration value while the power stroke has the same time duration and characteristics of a swing with shorter tempo duration. The Golf Dynamics Pro analyses tempo in consideration of the three swing segments: Back-swing, Pause and Reversal and Power-Stroke.
Smoothness of Swing Segments and Transitions
The smoothness of the Backswing and the Pause and Reversal are critical for a consistent high performance swing. If the forces applied to the club head through the shaft are abrupt, the club head will wobble on the end of the shaft (a spring) and this wobble can carry through your swing to impact with the ball. Club head wobble is very undesirable since it creates unwanted and uncontrollable changes in club head orientation that can remain through out your entire swing.
Back-Swing Smoothness
Backswing smoothness can easily evaluate with by examining the three dimensional forces directly during the Back Swing segment.
Pause and Reversal Smoothness
Pause and Reversal smoothness can easily evaluate with by examining the three dimensional forces directly during the Pause and Reversal
swing segment.

How Does the Golf Dynamics Pro System Work?
The Golf Dynamics Pro consists of three major components: a Club Head Module, a USB Module for data transfer and the Swing Analysis Software Program.
Club Head Module
The light weight Club Head Module is easily attachable to and detachable from the golf club head and contains motion measurement sensors and digital circuitry for accurate three dimensional measurements during your entire swing. The module also contains wireless electronics for real-time wireless transmission to your computer via the wireless Golf Dynamics Pro USB Module.
USB Module
The Golf Dynamics Pro Wireless USB Module plugs into your computer or laptop the same as any other USB device. The Golf Dynamics Pro USB Module receives the wireless signal from the Club Head Module and then instantaneously transfers the measured swing data (also called your Swing Signature) into your computer for analysis.
Swing Signature
The Swing Signature is the 3D data of your entire swing. The data is then calibrated automatically to take into account the alignment position of the Club Head Module on the club head and then processed by the Golf Impacts LLC proprietary computational algorithms in the Golf Dynamics Pro Software.

Golf Dynamics Pro Software
One the Golf Dynamics Pro Software has completed the computational analysis and extraction of golf metrics (which happens in a fraction of a second), your swing metric results are automatically displayed in the Golf Dynamics Pro - Swing Optimization Feedback window that has two sections: comprehensive numerical results and interactive graphical displays.
Golf Dynamics Pro – Swing Optimization Feedback window
The left side of the Swing Optimization Feedback window serves two purposes: It displays all of the numerical values of the swing metrics and it is also allows you to choose what metrics you would like to graph versus time with easy to use selection buttons.
The right side of the Swing Optimization Feedback window is where the metric vs. time graphs are displayed along with images showing what metric is graphed.
Golf Dynamics Pro is compatible with the following Operating Systems:
- Windows XP with service pack 3
- Vista 32 bit or 64 bit
- Windows 7
* Computer and golf club not included.
